Opened since the 1720s, this pub is steeped in history and was frequented by historical figures - including Charles Dickens. Most locals who frequent this part will tell you stories about how this area was hit during World War II. It underwent massive redevelopment along the way of course, but retained its original Old World charm. Located along the River Thames, the building also contains seafood restaurant upstairs.
