This charming Nepalese restaurant is named after the world-renowned Gurkha soldiers of the British Army. Wooden windows, paintings of traditional scenes, and huge pipes all adorn the walls, while prayer wheels and authentic decorations add to the ambiance. Here you can try Daal bhat (lentil soup and rice), the heart of the traditional Nepalese meal. A host of curried dishes such as Khorshani Chicken, Himali Duck and Farshi Lamb are offered, along with other treats like Tibetan-influenced Momos (dumplings), Roti (bread), sweet deserts and lassi (yoghurt drink).
