Hammersmith Ram, London

Sitting on King Street, the Hammersmith Ram pub is good place to enjoy a drink before or after a show. The bar is just a short walk from Hammersmith tube station and the surrounding Lyric and Apollo theatres. In fact, it's not a bad place for a drink any time, and likes to think of itself as "Your local country pub in the heart of Hammersmith." Good, honest pub food is available at decent prices and you can opt to enjoy it out in the heated patio area. Sports fans will appreciate the large screen used for big football and rugby games and music enthusiasts might like to visit on Wednesdays or Sundays, when live bands are invited to play. -Stephen Chappell
