Overview
The Islington Folk Club has been meeting in various places and is one of the city's longest running folk clubs. They have a resident six piece band called the Angel Band and also resident singers. In addition they have a guest band every week. They claim to have the whole range of folk bands from the fiercely traditional to the frankly eccentric. This is a popular club meeting in a fairly central location in a pleasant, ordinary sort of pub. Admission prices for non-members has been stated.
