Juno, London

The management at Juno has a laid-back ethos that is reflected in this retro bar and restaurant. There is literally something for everyone here, with an extensive menu of European and North African cuisines and a varied array of entertainment from comedy evenings, exhibitions and film screenings. Even the music is eclectic, ranging from disco to funky house, punk to jazz, or just chill out. The industrial urban décor and cozy leather seats are fitting with many of the bars in the area, though Juno does not have the holier-than-thou pretentiousness most of the others do. In other words, it is not a "scene," but attracts a generic crowd, thus making it a great place to mingle.
