Lodge Tavern (The), London

Situated near the lovely Ealing Common, this pleasant gastro-pub has a great outdoor space and is one of the few venues in the area open until the early hours. Inside, the emphasis is on a more ornate design than the average pub, with reclaimed floorboards, chandeliers and chesterfield sofas helping to create a sophisticated, warm and relaxed ambiance. The venue aims to provide a constantly changing menu of good old-fashioned pub grub with a sophisticated twist; think venison and red currant sausages and lamb, mint and red wine pie, along with a sizzling barbecue in summer. There’s a reasonable wine list, and cocktails are a key focus, including Classics, Creations, Dessert and hot cocktails such as Apple Pie and Choc Work Orange.
