Malabar is a good choice for those after-cinema hunger pangs. Malabar succeeds in presenting itself as a modern-era Indian restaurant, but it is certainly not minimalist. It is warm and welcoming, which appears to get the locals coming back time and again. In fact, the only downfall of the restaurant is that it is not easy to find in the residential area. The food stays quite traditional to what Londoners consider to be a typical Indian restaurant. All the favorites are there, from Lamb Korma to Chicken Tikka Masala, all at reasonable prices. But Malabar does not skimp on the ingredients, which are all top-quality. It's a small restaurant, and can get busy, so book to ensure a table.
