The Pirate Castle offers, people of all age groups and vocations, a variety of water sports to engage themselves in. This place was previously a Pirate Club founded in 1966 by Viscount St David. The club offered enthusiastic local children, an opportunity to sail down the Regent's Canal. The club has come a long way since then, and now offers formal training in water activities as well. Along with educating children about kayaking, sailing and skippering, they also offer courses in varied fields such as theater, rock climbing, hiking, fitness regimes like yoga, pilates and aerobics, computer education and more. Children who do not enjoy water can immerse themselves in jewelry making, photography, cooking, dance and puppetry. Check the website for schedule of activities.
