Overview

Located in the Holborn area of London, the Red Lion Square got its name from the Red Lion Inn and was laid out in 1698. It still continues to play a focal point in the lives of the people who use it as a meeting point, or to stroll through the gardens. A statue of Fenner Brockway stands majestically in the center while onlookers are equally impressed with the memorial to one of Britain's greatest legends, Bertrand Russell.
