Were it not for the fact that Searcy's is at the Barbican Centre, it would doubtless entice a clientele interested in the food alone, rather than its added convenience for the theater. Its current location is far from purely functional, since it has tremendous views of the nearby Church, and the Barbican's fountain-strewn lake, while dishes such as roast halibut with tomato, caramelized apple and shallots are wonderfully accomplished. The service is delightfully efficient. Confirm operational hours before your visit.
