Overview

After the success of The Wapping Project, the director Jules Wright opened another gallery on the southern area of the Thames called The Wapping Project Bankside. This gallery that started in 2009 features a vast collection of artifacts from the world of photography and video. The displays include beautiful stills in monochrome by Lillian Bassman and Paolo Roversi as well as rich chromes of objects and spaces by Susan Meiselas and Stephen Morgan. Visitors to this gallery can drop in and get inspired by the displays or attend an enlightening workshop conducted here.
