Overview
The Wapping Project is an arts center based in a converted power station that was built in 1890. It includes an exhibition area, performance space, bar and a restaurant. The turbines and other machinery are still intact and add to the atmosphere. The exhibition areas host a range of displays worth seeing. The restaurant is based in the engine and turbine rooms and speckled with chandeliers, pink lights and candles. Patrons are often intrigued by the menu, offering plenty of fish and seafood with excellent presentation and flavor. There is also a good range of wines and cocktails to help you soak in the unique experience. The venue also houses a restaurant serving modern cuisine.
