Overview
Walkers have the choice of a variety of signed trails to suit all abilities, from a mile to over 10 miles, in this delightful and busy park on the edge of the picturesque West Pennine Moors, close to Bolton. As well as a popular visitors center, there is a small scenic reservoir with facilities for fishing, sailing and picnics, or you can take a walk between the fascinating natural material sculptures—created by local artists - that have been placed around the park.
