The Romper is a classic stone-built country pub, a short drive from the Stockport town center. Extremely popular, especially on warm summer evenings and weekends, this atmospheric free house, decked out in solid oak beams, sells a comprehensive range of well kept real ales including Wadworths and Boddingtons. Food is the pub's specialty, and from lunchtime through to mid evening, all kinds of dishes are cooked to order including local game, pasta and plenty of vegetarian options. All in all, this is a great place for a special family day out.
