Run by four brothers, this fully licensed Tandoori restaurant is in a converted house set slightly back from the main road, and it would be easy to miss if you did not know it was there. It is well worth taking the trouble to find, however. A small and intimate, but stylish and comfortable, restaurant, with attentive but never overbearing staff, it offers quality food at prices that will not break the bank. The menu concentrates heavily on lamb and sea food, but it is wide-ranging, and there is enough variety to satisfy most tastes. A number of the dishes are unique to Ahad, and the recipes are jealously guarded.
