The name of this bar and restaurant might conjure up images of Kangaroo steaks and leather faced men dangling corks from their hats. This expectation might even be reinforced by the koala logo displayed outside, but think again. This elegant bar and bistro, located at the  Caledonian Hotel could hardly do more to belie its name. There are distinctive bar and restaurant areas. The bar is bright and sparse, with lots of shiny chrome in evidence and offers a range of premium bottled beers and cocktails. The dining area couldn't be more different, with an air of unhurried, old-fashioned elegance. The menu is an eclectic mix of eastern and European food. Prices are reasonable.
