Bonded Warehouse (The), Newcastle upon Tyne

Formerly known as the Baltic Tavern, this friendly pub facing the law courts, and decorated outside with hanging flower baskets, offers a fine selection of beers, and serves home-cooked food at lunch time. It is popular with diners in the afternoon, and drinkers in the evening. The interior is partitioned by brick walls and wooden rails into several distinct and discrete areas. The big screen television covering one wall usually shows Premiership football whenever it is on. The pub opens early on Sunday to serve breakfasts and non-alcoholic drinks to people frequenting the nearby Quayside Market.
