Leaping Salmon (The), Plymouth

This Dartmoor pub is popular with walkers, a large place with a bar with pool table, lounge and restaurant area. The two level lounge has padded seating in the upper area and wheel-back chairs in the lower. The bar is made of old barrels called kilderkins. There's also a beer garden with a kid's cabin, the only place where children are allowed. A wide range of food is served at midday and in the evening, their specialty being a ten piece mixed grill. There is also an extensive a la carte menu. A Courage house, it serves Directors, John Courage, Courage Best, Fosters, Kronenbourg, John Smiths and others.
