Olive Garden, Sheffield

Situated on the corner of Norfolk Street and Surrey Street, above an excellent health food shop, this small but extremely popular vegetarian cafe is a great place to sit and read the papers, or watch the world go by as you eat. The décor is contemporary, with green walls, blue woodwork and chunky matching crockery. An appetizing range of snacks and home-cooked meals is available. Ciabatta with mozzarella, tomato and home-made pesto is recommended, as are the stuffed baby aubergines. Main meals all come with two salads; and a "kids' meal deal" represents very good value. Organic beers and ciders and wines are also available.
