Stag (The), Sheffield

This medium-sized pub is based outside the city center, towards the south of Sheffield and is popular with both students and families. Separated seating areas, including a conservatory, a central area (with a large television screen) and warm open fires, create a relaxed atmosphere. Home cooked meals (such as steak and kidney pie) are served at lunchtimes and in the evenings. Local Kelham Island beers are available; Easy Rider is a specialty. Regular quizzes and competitions are scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays and usually prove very popular. Call ahead for more details.
