The Ryde Boating Lake is one of the town's more popular tourists spots. The beautiful lake is a great place to bring the family during the summer as its shores make a great picnic spot. The panoramic views at the lake, the pleasant waters and the friendly folks around make it a must see while on the island. The lake is also the spot at which the Isle of Wight's annual marathon kicks off.
