Michael "Scrim" Strzalkowski has mastered the art of crafting sculpture from whale's tooth ivory during his 25 years in Antigua. Original pieces are for sale in his small shop at the Antigua Slipway at Nelson's Dockyard. Scrim's contemporary take on this eons old art form has earned him acclaim from such publications as Boating Magazine among others. Scrim also creates unique works from stone, bone, and silver. To see samples of his work click on the link to his web site above. You'll enjoy watching him at work. And, you'll enjoy Scrim. If anyone in the world can be a film double for a pirate, it's Scrim — big, bald and with an earring.
