Zeerover may be hard to find, located discretely on the road between Oranjestad and San Nicolas, but head to this Savaneta favorite and you'll be happy you took the time. Occupying what was once a fisherman's pier, Zeerover evolved from a simple fry stand to a teeming restaurant, local Arubans coming down daily to savor the catch of the day. To order, queue up behind one of the locals, order your fish and choice of side (i.e. french fries, plantains or bread) and step to the beverage window. Within no time, your order will be ferried to your table. Zeerover is consistently hailed as one of the best restaurants in Aruba, although the complete lack of menu (you'll have the catch of the day if you order fish) and the fact that everything is fried may be off-putting to some guests. If you can look past this, however, you'll find one of the most authentic dining experiences on the island.
