Hammerhead's Bar & Grill, Nassau/Paradise Island

You won't find this bar advertised in any magazines or tour desks, which is all the more reason you should go. It's strictly a local hangout, but you'll still feel welcome. Tables of people from all corners of the world lounge in the sun, talking, laughing, and singing. Two happy dogs run back and forth. A football table is inside. The simple menu offers nachos, jerk chicken and other pub fare. The outdoor patio is usually busy. Out of a dozen large tables, half are full of boisterous, cheerful people. Inside you can always find a few folks drinking, eating or sorting through the CD collection. With more than 400 CDs to choose from, the sorting process can take a while.
