Mama Loo's, Nassau/Paradise Island

The name of this restaurant is unassuming and misleading. Mama Loo's is light years away from any mom-and-pop Chinese eatery in the Western world. It's chic and sophisticated, serving expensive gourmet variations of Chinese fare. The highlight of the menu is its gourmet seafood section. Seafood fans should start with the Fried Jumbo Shrimp with plum dip and then move on to the Stir-fried Bahamian Lobster. If you're not in the mood for seafood, plenty of other options are on the menu, including Braised Duckling and Fried Noodles. Dress to impress. As with many Atlantis restaurants, this place offers an elegant dining experience.
