Same Ole Place, Nassau/Paradise Island

This name is tongue-in-cheek pidgin refering to the homey atmosphere and down-home cooking found here. It's a great place to come when you are hungry and watching your wallet. However, the low prices are not reflected in the quality of the food. Enjoy delicious souse (a type of spicy stew), okra and peas soup 'n dumplings as well as the grouper, snapper, crawfish, chicken and pork chops. A rake and scrape band plays on Sundays. The Kiwanis Club takes over the place on Thursdays. But, on any other day, notable locals come here to eat, so you may run into some members of parliament and other celebrities.
