Bistro Mezzomare, Out Islands

Remodeled in 1998, this restaurant at the Conch Inn Resort & Marina Hotel creates a rare fusion of cuisines, drawing from Bahamian, American and Italian culinary traditions. The waterfront bistro is a popular destination for cocktails at the bar overlooking the marina and for tasty meals. The open-air dining area is adorned with pink tablecloths and stained wood paneling. Breakfast dishes include bacon, eggs, sausage, muffins and other typical American fare. The lunch menu consists mainly of burgers, salads and chicken sandwiches. Pastas, cracked conch, strip steaks and the house specialty Zuppa de Pisce (fish soup) round out the dinner selections. The bistro serves beer, wine and liquor.
