Great Guana Cay, Out Islands

Only about 120 residents call this rural paradise home. On its breathtaking seven-mile beach, one can swim, snorkel and beachcomb in tranquility. If you're looking to mingle with locals and other visitors head over to Nipper's, a bar and grill famous for pig roasts, music and dancing. The islands surrounding reefs offer some of the best fishing in the Bahamas. Bonefish are especially abundant. Charter a trip or rent your own boat. Ideal for a day trip, the small settlement has a few stores and restaurants. But don't expect to find Tiffany's or Gucci! Ferries leave daily from Marsh Harbor.
