This "castle" is really more of an 18th century plantation. You'll see the remnants of storage buildings, a mess hall, slave quarters and of course the main house. Careful inspection of the grounds has been known to yield some trinkets from the former residents. Located 85 feet above sea level, few spots on San Salvador can boast such views. To get to the area you'll have to travel south on Queen's Highway to the extreme southwest of San Salvador and then make a turn on Sandcliff Road. This road will eventually lead you to the castle. Admission is free.
