Ackee Tree Roti Shed & Snackette, Barbados

The Ackee Tree Roti Shed and Snackette is home to the West Indian curry, with flavors far different to those of the east Indian curry. This is known as the home of the one-pound roti, and they even offer to weigh it before you buy it. The Trinidadian chef cooks up an excellent curry shrimp roti made with local herbs and spices, and the extensive menu serves appetizers, soups, seafood, meat and, of course, a host of vegetarian dishes.
