Banks Brewery, Barbados

Banks is the beer of Barbados, locally brewed and internationally acclaimed, having won several international awards over the years. The brewery was started in 1961 and today the beer is sold in Barbados, the Caribbean and the United States. At the brewery, located just fifteen minutes outside of the capital Bridgetown, you will have the opportunity to see the process at work. From the historical to modern day - the old copper kettles in which the ale was brewed to the current computerized process - beer aficionados will delight in this tour, which ends with an invitation to sample the brew.
