Overview

The Chase Vault, which is also referred to as the Chase Crypt, is located in the Christ Church Parish Church and has an eerie tale. In 1808, the Chase family built a vault to have a place to bury their beloved ones, but whenever the sealed vault was reopened for newly deceased members, the coffins inside would be displaced. One of the coffins was even found standing on its head! To date, no reasonable explanation has been offered for this unusual phenomenon. Visit if you dare! -Nadia Ali
