Overview
This conservation area extends one mile from Colony Club to Sandy Lane. It consists of both recreational and scientific zones and is the primary observation ground of reef life for the nearby Belairs Institute. The museum charges a nominal entrance fee. The staff is very enthusiastic and takes pleasure in explaining its operation to visitors. Here you will find artifacts of the sea; such as antique bottles, samples of coral, shells and whale bones. Also on the complex is a mini-aquarium and play park. This is a good departure point for glass-bottom boat rides and other sea adventures.
