Gallery of Caribbean Art (The), Barbados

Local and regional art are featured in The Gallery of Caribbean Art, which is situated in Speightstown in the northern parish of St. Peter. A second outlet is located in the south, at the Hilton Barbados Hotel. The works presented include wooden sculptures, clay figures, prints, photography, and paintings in a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics and mixed media. The gallery hosts temporary exhibits of the works of local and visiting artists. Works are on sale in-house at the gallery and also online on the gallery’s website. The gallery provides a fantastic opportunity to decorate your home with Caribbean art, and to invest in the development of the region’s artists. -Marsilyn Browne
