Overview
The Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is a veritable haven for those trying to reconnect with nature or just trying to find some peace of mind. The largest expanse of inland water in Barbados, it has 40 species of birds and several species of plants, such as the rare button creeper and sedges. The walkways, which lead you around the sanctuary, are covered with lush creepers and mangroves. And if you're an animal lover, look out for the green monkey and mongoose! This is a great place to walk around and when you're here, don't forget to breath deeply - the air is fresh!
