Overview

Ocean Echo Stables is located in the parish of St. John on the eastern side of Barbados. It is a family owned business that offers horse riding adventures along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean. The horses stay on a small farm with other livestock and are kept in tip-top condition. Once an outing is booked, the owners will even pick you up from your hotel.   Samantha was absolutely wonderful. Her helper were ssooo very patient with us as we aren't regular horse back riders. They were very very good with the horses. The ride was beautiful. Samatha took pictures of us as well as the landscape as we rode so we could enjoy the scenery & answered many questions we had about the island as we were passing points of interest. The best thing; of course; was the walking on the beautiful beach on the horses. We were the only 2 in our ride, so they were able to spend 1 on 1 with us. The trip from the cruise ship to the stables was interesting as well. They took us thru parts of the island getting to the stables that we wouldn't have not ventured in. So was nice to see the "true" side of the way the islanders live. I would recommend this excursion! Worth every bit of the dollars spent.
