Overview
The parish church of the northern parish of St. Peter, this Anglican church is located in Speighstown, a town once called Little Bristol due to its trading links with Bristol in England. The church was one of the first Anglican churches built on the island in the early 17th Century. The current church was built in 1837 in the Georgian style, but was partially destroyed by fire in 1980. The church was restored over a period of three years. Today it is very well known for its annual Flower Show and Garden Festival, a five-day event held every year in January, in which the best floral arrangers of the island showcase their talent. International floral arrangers have also participated in the event. -Marsilyn Browne
