Overview
Gombey masks, used in ceremonies by the original native people of Bermuda, are the key exhibition at this museum. The ornate masks have been used to learn much about the ancient culture as well as their mythology and language. Owner Juliette Duncan aims to teach Bermudians and visitors about the island's non-British history via these artifacts. Other exhibits along the short trail include everyday items used by the "onions" during life in the 16th through 18th Centuries. Admission is USD5 per person. The museum is usually closed during colder months hence call ahead for varying dates
