Casagranda, Santiago de Cuba

This is a spacious establishment, separated from the lobby of the hotel by large glass panels. The atmosphere is friendly, the temperature cool, and it is a very easygoing and tasteful place to pass the time of day or night. It has well spaced-out tables, and background music, usually instrumental, fills the air; the bar counter is made of wood, and there are some ornamental structures made of green and grey marble. After five in the afternoon, a band of traditional Cuban musicians perform. The part of the bar that receives all the sunshine is protected by canopies. On the menu expect lasagne, cannelloni, pizza, spaghetti, ice cream, domestic and imported beer, fruit juice, soft drinks and cocktails.
