Overview

Each year, international editors, renowned literary personalities, and the public converge on the Plaza del Conservatorio. Although the Book Fair has been celebrated since 1973, it did not become an international event until 1998. Currently, it is one of the major events of its kind in the Caribbean. Events take place on The Plaza del Conservatorio's extensive and pleasant green lawn. Besides the book exhibition and sale, diverse cultural events take place, including theatrical, dance and folkloric presentations.
