Cuddy'z Ultimate Sports Bar is owned by none other than famed West Indian Cricketer Courtney A. Walsh. It’s no wonder the interior is heavily decorated with memorabilia from the world of sports. Check out their happy hour and sip on their signature cocktail, the Cuddyztini, a mix of plum juice and vodka. Cuddy’z is a swinging high-tech sports bar with over 55 big screens. The menu is made up of sports-themed dishes such as the Formula One Burger, the Champion Cheeseburger, or the cake and vanilla dessert known as Ready To Rumble.   Worst Dining Experience Ever!!! At the risk of this post being removed, I must publicize this travesty of a restaurant/sportsbar experience. My family and friends went to Cuddy'z tonight to celebrate my birthday and Jamaica's 50th Independence. Unfortunately things did not go according to plan when the shoe of some child in the restaurant landed in my food. One of the waitresses, witnessing what had happened, decided that taking the shoe out of my meal, handing said shoe to the child's parent, and allowing the parent to leave the restaurant was the appropriate immediate action. This left me with no choice but to assume that the restaurant was taking full responsibly for the bill, since a staff member had just allowed the responsible party to leave the premises without clarifying the issue. The manager was notified of the incident and told me that she could only receive a 10% refund or a portion of the meal. Despite my (and several witnessing patrons') pleas, the manager refused to offer a higher refund or a complete meal for the bad experience. Ultimately, all I left the 'restaurant' with was a bitter taste in my mouth; I never received as much as an apology, and to add insult to injury, a certain staff member emphasized that they were not responsible for the shoe falling into her meal. The entire series of events occured between 8:30pm and 9:00pm. I hope that the owner(s) of this establishment get wind of this experience, as the situation was poorly handled by staff involved. More importantly, my experience has exposed a general lack of customer service training and common courtesy that needs to be addressed by the business operators, before it slowly erodes the customer base.
