A significant festival for Cabo, this annual event is in honor of one of the country's first presidents of Indian descent. The fun begins with a mid-morning parade of families with children, and the streets are lined with small food vendor carts. The festivities continue with street bands extending out from local cantinas and continuing most of the night. Don't stay just on the main streets of the city though. Just off the beaten path a block or two are many small, local parties celebrating this national hero.
