Saloon Cabo, Cabo San Lucas

Saloon Cabo is a nice addition to the already pulsating, constantly evolving bars that dominate the downtown scene. This place offers a casual ambiance ideal for a bucket of beers before hitting the enormous nightclubs in the neighborhood. Situated in the heart and main artery of party central, adjacent to the famous debauch El Squid Roe, this saloon has an ambiance unlike any other establishment. For example, the wild west cantina offers an authentic cowboy ambiance, complete with sawdust on the floor. Patrons are encouraged to toss peanut shells on the sawdust. Photos of legendary gunfighters and outlaws adorn the wood paneled walls. Furthermore, the doors to the saloon offer a perfect place to escape the exorbitant prices of the neighboring tourist traps; or to warm up for the main event later in the evening. - Matthew Dexter
