ShangHai Chinese, Cabo San Lucas

Chinese is one of the most popular cuisines in Los Cabos (don't ask why?). Locals seem to love it, and tourists also enjoy it every now and then to break up the monotony of the pervasive Mexican cuisine palpitating through the tropical air on almost every street corner. There are dozens of tasty places to choose from when it comes to local Chinese, and ShangHai Chinese is one of the favorites because the great prices and especially the delicious buffet lunch for only 90MXN every Wednesday until 4p. Delivery is free for those within three and a half miles in downtown Cabo. Specials include soups and traditional Chinese cuisine. The setting is unsophisticated, but the food is as close to Shanghai as you'll find in Los Cabos at a price that will not kill you. - Matthew Dexter
