Overview
This Mayan ceremonial center was at its peak from 300 to 1200 CE. It is a semi-explored area, where there are still a large number of hidden ruins under the earth. The Sun Temple is the most prominent edifice. Admire the big masks and mythological characters carved on the walls-signs of the legacy of Mayan mythology, abundant in stories and legends.
