Overview
This museum was built in 1982 and exhibits a variety of aspects from the Mayan culture from its beginnings up to the conquest era. It is comprised of archaeological objects found during the research and excavations of the National Institute of Anthropology and History in the north of the state. During the beginning of the tour, learn about the socioeconomic aspects of the Mayans who lived in the Yucatan Peninsula, as well as the principal technological and architectural characteristics of the most known archaeological zones in the north of the state.
