Overview
The Museo de la Ciudad (City Museum) is located in the center of Guadalajara. The museum is housed in an 18th Century building that served many different purposes until 1992 when the museum was inaugurated, coinciding with the city's 450th anniversary. The museum houses historical, urban, ethnographic and artistic exhibits about the city. The place also organizes various exhibitions, concerts and art workshops for adults as well as children.
