Overview
The Museo de Paleontologia de Guadalajara opened in 2000 in the Tlaquepaque area of the city. The museum houses many fossils and allows visitors to explore the history of these prehistoric artifacts. One especially interesting aspect of the museum are the exhibitions about the prehistoric animals of Jalisco.
