Overview

This theater is part of the Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social's theatric infrastructure, which also includes theaters in Ciudad Guzman and Lagos de Moreno. The theater was innaugurated in 1962 with a production of Un Tigre a las Puertas. The theater features 566 seats and hosts comedies, children's shows, musical theater and concerts.
