Centro Cultural del Bosque, Mexico City

The Centro Cultural del Bosque is a vibrant performing arts center situated behind the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City's Chapultepec Park. Multiple theaters present dance, music, theater, and film with a jam-packed calendar of activities. The Teatro de la Danza hosts local, national, and international companies and presents a weekly interview with a well-known dance artist (the National Dance Company of Mexico also makes its home in the Centro and the dancers frequently can be seen outside during rehearsal breaks). The Cineclub offers an interesting variety of films, which are followed by discussions, sometimes with the director himself. -George Nunes
